The Agency Owner

Colleen Wright, owner of Response Interactive LLC, is a marketing professional with a career that began in 1989. A graduate of Portland State University in Portland, Oregon with a 3.47 GPA, Colleen has two Business Administration degrees in marketing and advertising management.

Breadth and Depth in the Marketing Field

Colleen’s career has spanned a variety of industries from banking and finance to seminar marketing, sports marketing, high tech, non-profit and horticulture. She designed her first website in 1997 for a clipart product series she developed while working at CompuPlants Nursery Management Software. The clip art series named GardenArtz Gardening Clipart continues to be a bestseller in American Nurseryman Catalog.

Numerous Sites Designed over her Fifteen year Career

As project manager for the redesign of the Oregon Society of CPAs website which included a variety of interactive features such as a custom shopping cart, online member directory and an articles library she worked closely with Saturno Design in Portland, Oregon who was selected as the website developer. This redesign increased web traffic exponentially. In her career, Colleen has designed numerous sites ranging in size and complexity.

Well-Rounded Marketing Professional

More recently, Colleen was Marketing Director for a small commercial real estate company where she managed the website. With guidance from Top Rank Online Marketing in Minneapolis, Minnesota, PSC’s search engine rankings were consistently high for very competitive keywords. In January 2007, Colleen left Pacific Security Capital to start Response Interactive LLC.

A Firm Believer in Continuing Education

Colleen received training in Search Engine Marketing from the Search Engine Academy run by John Alexander and Robin Nobles. As an associate of Search Engine Academy she teaches search engine optimization in Beaverton, Oregon under the name Search Engine Academy of Oregon. Colleen is also on the Education Committee at SEMPO and attends local and national professional development events such as SMX Advanced.
